Step 5: Ann Nikiforuk from Grade 9 "A" in the project

Their roots are in Ukraine

In the history of humanity there have always been people whose actions and ideas produced a great impact on the lives of other people. They have made a great contribution to our country. For this reason they are called outstanding.

Milla Jovovich ,for instance , an American actor, musician and model. She was born on 17^th December in 1975 in Kyiv. When she was 15 years old, she immigrated to the USA. Now she has got a beautiful house in Los Angeles, flats in New York and Paris. She hasn’t got higher education but she began the career of a model very early, from the age of 11.

Her first role in the film was Sherelin Fen. The peak of her career were such films as “The fifth element”(her role is Lila),”G. D’Dark”. From childhood Milla was taking lessons of acting and playing the piano. She got her first electric guitar at 11. From that time she has been working in a studio. Milla has got 2 albums. There is a Ukrainian song “Ой у гаю , при Дунаю” on her first CD.

Now Milla and her husband Rol Anderson have got two babies. I think they are enjoying their life.

Sometimes she visits Ukraine. But she always returns back because East or West home is best. And the USA is her home now. (Ann Nikiforuk 9 "А")
